India has launched the multilateral military exercise PRAGATI 2026 at the Umroi Military Station in Meghalaya. PRAGATI 2026 Military Exercise Begins in Meghalaya
The Indian Army has officially commenced the PRAGATI 2026, which is a major multinational military exercise at Meghalaya’s Umroi Military Station.
The exercise has brought together the troops from Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
All the participating contingents received the traditional welcome from the Indian Army at the opening ceremony.
The military drill is also designed to strengthen the cooperation among regional armed forces and improve joint operational readiness.
