On 9th of May, 2026 Suvendu Adhikari took the oath as new Chief Minister of state and along with him five other MLAs have take the oath as Ministers of the Wet Bengal state. On 11th of May new government under the leadership of CM Suvendu Adhikari had announced the cabinet portfolios and key policy decisions.

The newly formed BJP government has assigned the important departments to its ministers which aims for efficient governance and quick implementation of policies.
